Yuliya started playing tennis at an early age. Her father brought Yuliya to Antey Tennis School (Kiev, Ukraine) at the age of 6. Growing fast in her abilities and gaining experience from the best coaches in the country Yuliya obtained full scholarship from Nataliya Medvedeva (Former WTA #21) at her Tennis Academy. Thanks to the support of her coaches she became the top player in Ukraine, and represented Ukraine in numerous tennis tournaments around the world. Yuliya became tennis professional at the age of 16, winning numerous professional tournaments. During her professional career she competed against Svetlana Kuznetsova, Alona and Kateryna Bondarenko, Yaroslava Shvedova, Elena Vesnina, and many more currently TOP ranked players in WTA.
Yuliya obtained full tennis scholarship at University in Hawaii, USA (BYU-Hawaii) and graduated with honours with a Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Sport Science, Business)
Yuliya have been coaching tennis to players of all ages around the globe for over 20 years. She coached and mentored tennis players in Los Angeles (California, USA), Indian Wells (California, USA), Shanghai (China), Kiev (Ukraine), Dortmund (Germany), Hong Kong (SAR, China).
